“Whiteness and Related Concepts in Education” Webinar
23 July 2020

8:00-9:00am (Hawai'i) / 11:00am-12:00pm (Pacific) / 2:00-3:00pm (Eastern)

Facilitated by Dr. Kevin Kumashiro, this introductory, interactive workshop examines the definitions and manifestations of whiteness and related concepts (white identity, white privilege, white supremacy and nationalism, white fragility and resistance), how they play out in schools and colleges, and frameworks and strategies for addressing them. Open to the public, and designed especially for both white and non-white educators.

Because this is an interactive workshop, it will not be recorded.

Registration is on a sliding scale (pay what you can), starting at $0. If you are able, please consider one of the higher amounts to support this webinar.  Registration is required (registration closes one hour before the start time) and space is limited.

Please note: Instructions for joining the webinar will be emailed to registered participants a few hours before the start time.
